Message from the Chairman
I have been a judge for 34 years and have presided over child protection cases, as part of my caseload, for all of that time. I am brutally aware of the consequences for young adults who graduate from Children's Aid care without a connection to a permanent family.
I regularly witness the impact in our adult criminal and family court cases and realize it is broader than that, with much of the damage being played out in people's lives without coming to the attention of the authorities.
Without the generous support of donors, we could not continue to engage in this wonderful work to improve the lives of so many, by supporting those who find the permanent homes for which these young people long. It is a privilege and honour for me to be part of such an exciting movement and to share the journey with like-minded people who are willing to lend their support in such a marvellous and generous way.
